West Cornwall Together

West Cornwall Together is the local strategic partnership for the district council areas of Penwith and Kerrier. It is a Partnership of the public, private, voluntary and community sectors with a mission to improve the quality of life of residents through joined up public services for West Cornwall to enable greater service delivery than the partners can achieve individually. Service delivery is by all the sectors - public, private, voluntary and community.

A Local Strategic Partnership (LSP) is a single non-statutory, multi-agency body, which matches local authority boundaries, and aims to bring together at a local level the different parts of the public, private, community and voluntary sectors.

There are many ways that a scheme or a project can be funded including gifts, grants from foundations or through income generated from various sources.

West Cornwall Together is made up of many different partners. These partners bring a wealth of knowledge and commitment to improving the quality of life and standard of living for the people of west Cornwall.

The West Cornwall Together Team works closely with West Cornwall Community Network (WCCN), who provides an essential co-ordination function on behalf of the Voluntary and Community Sector (VCS) in West Cornwall.

Much of the day to day work of WCT is carried out through its various Partnership Delivery Groups (PDGs).
